Artificial intelligence (AI) company Saltlux announced on the 29th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with financial IT service specialist ITEyes to jointly carry out business based on generative AI solutions.
Based on their respective strengths such as technology and infrastructure, the two companies will collaborate to jointly develop and build services and systems based on generative AI solutions.
Saltlux will supply various self-developed generative AI solution products, including the large language model (LLM) ‘LUXIA’ and ‘Language Studio,’ to ITEyes. ITEyes will be responsible for sales, service, system development and construction, and maintenance of the generative AI solution products. It is expected to quickly create business synergy in the financial sector.
Saltlux, the first AI company to be listed in the industry, has led digital innovation for more than 2,000 companies and institutions including Hyundai Motor Company, Samsung Electronics, NH Nonghyup Bank, the Constitutional Court, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, Seoul Metro, and the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. The large language model LUXIA, announced last year, ranked first in the world among models under 35B on the open LLM leaderboard, establishing a leading position in the generative AI field. Recently, Saltlux launched ‘LUXIA ON,’ the world’s first hardware-integrated generative AI appliance that allows easy adoption of generative AI at hardware-level costs.
ITEyes is a financial IT service specialist recognized by the industry for its expertise, providing solutions and services mainly to financial institutions in core business areas such as credit evaluation, risk management, and asset management. Recently, it introduced the token securities (STO) solution ‘FASTO-CS’ to the market. It also holds financial solutions such as the government bond specialized market trading solution ‘BondTRX,’ the over-the-counter derivatives integrated solution ‘K-GODIS,’ and ‘GODIS-TR’ for transaction information storage TR reporting.
Saltlux CEO Lee Kyung-il said, “The financial industry is a field where generative AI can be widely utilized, from improving work efficiency to customer-facing services. We expect LUXIA and our various solutions to greatly innovate customer experience and organizational productivity.” He added, “Through close cooperation with ITEyes, we plan not only to effectively target the financial sector but also to explore various ways to collaborate in other fields.”
ITEyes Executive Director Choi Jae-woon explained, “We have accumulated abundant practical experience and know-how in building AI-based systems such as financial screening and analysis systems and market forecasting systems. Based on cooperation with Saltlux, we will jointly lead proactive responses to improving financial services using AI.”
From the 1st to the 3rd of next month, Saltlux will set up a joint booth with its subsidiaries at ‘AI EXPO KOREA 2024,’ held at COEX in Seoul. At the event, visitors can experience various solutions including Saltlux’s ‘LUXIA ON’ and ‘LUXIAX Search Studio,’ Plunit’s ‘Plunit Work Center’ and ‘Sonbisa,’ Diquest’s ‘Mariner5’ and ‘DPlatform2,’ and Goober’s ‘Goober.’
