Chungnam Province and CJ Freshway Join Hands for Agricultural Specialty Products Distribution

CJ Freshway's 'Delicious Value' has been added to Chungnam's excellent agricultural products.

On the 29th, Governor Kim Tae-heum signed a win-win cooperation agreement with Jeong Seong-pil, CEO of CJ Freshway, for the distribution of agricultural specialties.

CJ Freshway, the No. 1 food ingredient distribution company in Korea, distributes food ingredients to catering companies and operates group cafeterias at industrial sites and hospitals nationwide.

According to the agreement, both organizations agreed to mutually cooperate to expand the sales and contract cultivation of agricultural specialties and to promote smart agriculture.

CJ Freshway plans to promote a regional win-win project that provides menus using Chungnam agricultural specialties to group cafeterias nationwide. To this end, the province will discover production sites such as smart farms, and the Nonghyup will support the stable supply of agricultural specialties.

Governor Kim said, "I hope to move forward as a strong partner with CJ Freshway, the No. 1 food ingredient distribution company in Korea," and asked, "Please help a lot so that this agreement can open the way for changes in agriculture and rural areas."

CEO Jeong said, "We will explore sales channels for agricultural specialties together with the province and find ways to grow together," adding, "We will stay together from today's first start to the end."
