Naver Provides 1.2 Million KRW Annually to Employees with Disabled Children

Naver has decided to provide 1.2 million KRW annually to employees with children who have disabilities.

According to industry sources on the 29th, Naver recently held a labor-management council meeting and agreed on a plan to support employees with children under the age of 20 who have disabilities with an annual payment of 1.2 million KRW.

Naver plans to accept applications next month, conduct screenings, and provide support funds to confirmed recipients using the company's employee welfare fund.

Previously, on December 1, 2020, Naver established Naver Hands, a standard workplace for people with disabilities, to promote employment for socially vulnerable groups and has shown interest in supporting the independence of people with disabilities. As of December last year, 54 employees with disabilities at Naver Hands work at convenience stores in the 'Tech Convergence' building, the second headquarters '1784', as well as at Pangyo Techwon and Dodam Building, where Naver affiliates are located.
