A story was shared about witnessing a boat trailer parked in an apartment underground parking lot.

The poster explained the situation, saying, "The boat trailer has been parked in the lot for some time now, and even though my car is over 5 meters long, the connecting rod sticks out longer than my car, so I thought an accident could happen if someone isn’t careful."

At the time, the boat had a parking registration sticker attached, but when Mr. A inquired with the management office, they said they had never issued such a sticker.

Mr. A stated, "They said they never approved parking registration for the boat trailer and that a vehicle sticker was just stuck on the trailer," adding, "They are being asked to remove it, but they are not listening."

He expressed his frustration, saying, "I used to have a boat when I was into fishing, but I parked it monthly in a company lot and had the parking managed. I think it’s too much to expect to park inside the complex."

He then asked netizens for advice, saying, "If I try to solve this physically, it will only lead to fights. Is there a legal way to resolve this?"

Netizens who read the story responded with comments such as, "I don’t understand why such people only think about their own convenience," "You have to keep filing complaints with the management office," "Since it’s private property, I don’t think there’s a legal way to handle it. It must be very frustrating," and "It seems like there are such car owners everywhere."

Meanwhile, on the 2nd, the Democratic Party held a headquarters leadership meeting at their Yeouido office in Seoul and announced pledges proposed mainly through online communities. Among them was a law to punish 'parking villains,' which had been discussed in communities including the car community Bobae Dream.

Democratic Party lawmaker Heo Young plans to propose a strong punishment bill for parking villains based on an amendment to the 'Parking Lot Act' that establishes grounds for cracking down on illegal parking.

At the time, Kim Min-seok, the general election situation room chief, explained, "The targeted pledges were compiled by party members based on discussions and suggestions from various domestic communities, and underwent review by the policy committee before the announcement. We have now begun preparations to legislate them specifically."
