Simultaneous Events at Masan Robot Land and Ulsan Grand Park
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 28th that it held the ‘BNK Gyeongnam Bank Family Culture Festival (Subtitle: The 33rd BNK Gyeongnam Bank Writing and Art Contest)’.
The BNK Gyeongnam Bank Family Culture Festival, held simultaneously at Masan Robot Land and Ulsan Grand Park, was a great success with many local residents participating as families, including 5,000 pre-registered attendees at Masan Robot Land (Ulsan Grand Park had free admission).
BNK Gyeongnam Bank President Ye Gyeongtak, Gyeongsangnam-do Governor Park Wansu, and Choi Jaeho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, are taking a commemorative photo with local residents.
Distinguished guests such as Park Wan-su, Governor of Gyeongsangnam-do, and Choi Jae-ho, Chairman of the Changwon Chamber of Commerce and Industry, also participated to celebrate the festival and add significance to the event.
Before the main contest began, participating families enjoyed various experience programs such as watching dance performances, tattoo stickers, life two-cuts, astronaut and character costumes, and more.
In his opening remarks, Bank President Ye Gyeong-tak said, “The BNK Gyeongnam Bank Family Culture Festival is the region’s largest literary and art event, continuing its 33rd year this year with the writing and art contest expanded to allow all local family members to participate with more leisure and elevated dignity. We have prepared it with great care, and we hope all local family members will spend time building memories and communicating. Going forward, BNK Gyeongnam Bank will continue to repay the support of local residents through sincere social contribution projects as well as various cultural events.”
The BNK Gyeongnam Bank Family Culture Festival announced the themes “Our Dream Moving Toward Space” at Masan Robot Land and “Our Dream Moving Toward the Future” at Ulsan Grand Park. After announcing the judging criteria and conducting a raffle for prizes (Nintendo Switch, LG robot vacuum cleaner, Dyson Airwrap, Robot Land one-day free pass, Starbucks gifticon, Keith Haring umbrella, etc.), the contest began.
Children who received drawing paper and adults with tablet PCs wrote and drew according to the theme.
After the contest, participating families enjoyed free use of the rides at Masan Robot Land and the rose garden viewing facilities at Ulsan Grand Park.
Lee Min-seok (39 years old, Masanhoewon-gu, Changwon City), who participated with his family, said, “Since it was a contest that families could participate in, everyone was able to have a happy time. Seeing the children experience participating in the art contest and also enjoy their time at the amusement park made me realize the importance of local cultural events. I am grateful to BNK Gyeongnam Bank for hosting such an event.”
The submitted works will undergo strict judging in the categories of writing (SNS poetry), painting, and digital painting. Awards including the BNK Gyeongnam Bank President’s Award, Gyeongsangnam-do Governor’s Award, Gyeongsangnam-do Superintendent of Education Award, Ulsan Mayor’s Award, and Ulsan Superintendent of Education Award will be given to 9 winners in writing, 2,580 in painting, and 12 in digital painting, along with scholarships or prize money (awards).
