The 33rd Gunseo Residents' Day was successfully held to celebrate the 2024 Year of Visit Yeonggwang. Although the farming season had begun, everyone gathered with more joy than in any other year.
This year's 33rd Residents' Day took place on the 27th at Gunseo Elementary School. Over 800 people, including Gunseo residents living in Seoul, united with one heart and one mind to strengthen the village community bonds. On the same day, the neighboring Baeksu-myeon also held its Residents' Day event.
After the first part of the ceremony, the women's association and the life improvement association shared a delicious lunch prepared together. Then, the second part featured residents' unity games and a community gathering.

"Jihwaja, this is great! The weather is nice, and the songs are good too!" Elderly participants dressed beautifully sway their shoulders and show off their dance moves to the trot rhythm of the invited singer. The refreshing spring weather and breeze are perfect for joyful play.
"No matter what, the highlight of Residents' Day is the prize event." Contestants in the singing contest showcased their finely honed skills and recommended prizes, enhancing the cheerful atmosphere.
