On the 27th, the 6th anniversary of the April 27 Panmunjom Declaration, the People Power Party claimed, "What the Panmunjom Summit and the September 19 Military Agreement brought was not peace on the Korean Peninsula, but only North Korea's unilateral breach of agreements and provocations."
Spokesperson Kim Min-su made this statement in a commentary on the same day, criticizing former President Moon Jae-in for mentioning in a congratulatory video speech at the 6th anniversary event of the Panmunjom Summit that "the Yoon Seok-yeol administration should shift its Korean Peninsula policy direction according to the will of the people expressed in the general election."
Spokesperson Kim questioned, "Is former President Moon still crossing the 'Dobodari' alone in his delusions? Or does he consider the word 'will of the people' merely as a tool to be used in political rhetoric?"
He condemned, "Now all South Korean citizens know the truth that 'North Korea will never give up its nuclear weapons,' and while former President Moon was calling for peace with a submissive attitude, North Korea advanced its nuclear capabilities."
Spokesperson Kim stated, "I hope the truth that guarantees the safety of South Korean citizens from North Korea lies in the 'unceasing efforts for self-reliance' and the 'strong ROK-US alliance' is not distorted."
He also emphasized, "There are no longer any citizens who will be deceived by the 'peace show' that former President Moon shouted for. If you truly worry about South Korea’s security, reflect on the North Korea policy that was consistently submissive and on the mistake of opening the way for those with misguided beliefs to enter the National Assembly."
