Support for Vulnerable Groups in the Region with Gijang Anchovies, Seaweed, and Kelp

Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters donated 200 sets of Gijang specialty products worth approximately 5 million KRW, including anchovies, seaweed, and kelp, to vulnerable groups in the region at Daebyeon Village, Gijang-gun, Busan, on the 25th.

After the event supporting vulnerable groups with Gijang specialty products, Lee Kwang-hoon, Director of the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters (center), is taking a commemorative photo with officials.

The specialty products supported by the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters on this day were evenly distributed to marginalized groups such as households receiving basic livelihood security benefits and low-income elderly living alone in five towns and townships within Gijang-gun.

In addition, as the 28th Gijang Anchovy Festival, a representative festival of Gijang, was canceled, the Gori Nuclear Power Headquarters is striving to revitalize the local economy through the "Gijang Specialty Product Sales Promotion Campaign" to help the depressed local commercial district.

Director Lee Gwang-hoon expressed his intention, saying, “We will create a company that coexists and develops with local residents with a sense of responsibility as a public enterprise representing the region.”
