Monthly Cultural and Artistic Performances at the 47th Floor Observatory 'Cheonan Town Hall'

‘Cheonan Town Hall,’ emerging as a representative tourist attraction in Cheonan, is transforming into a space where diverse cultural performances take place.

The city announced on the 26th that under the theme "Between Daily Life and Imagination," various cultural performances such as jazz, symphony, and book concerts will be held once a month at Cheonan Town Hall until December this year.

Starting with a performance by Hong Sundal Band, a jazz musician from Cheonan, on the 26th, May will feature the Soundable Arts Group composed of autistic and developmentally disabled youth and young adults, and June will offer a meeting with Kim Mihee, a representative local artist, and indie artist Yojo.

In July and August, there will be classical ensemble performances by the Cheonan City Symphony Orchestra, and from October to December, jazz performances by youth bands and the Hong Sundal Band are scheduled.

Mayor Park Sangdon said, "Town Hall has become the number one place people want to visit in Cheonan on social media and other platforms," adding, "I hope that through diverse cultural and artistic performances at Town Hall, citizens and visitors will rekindle forgotten dreams and romance."

Meanwhile, Cheonan Town Hall, with its 47th-floor observatory offering a panoramic view of the entire city, welcomed more than 207,000 visitors last year.
