Veloc, Virtual OS Supply Worth 4.9 Billion KRW for KEPCO KDN

Veloc announced on the 26th through a public notice that it has secured a KRW 4.9 billion contract from KEPCO KDN for the "Korea Southern Power Business and Virtualization System Enhancement" project. This supply contract amounts to 18.43% of last year's annual sales, and the contract period is until August 31.

Veloc signed this contract through the global company Nutanix. Accordingly, it will supply equipment to enhance Korea Southern Power's business and internet virtualization systems and carry out the migration work of the currently operating business virtualization systems.

For power plants, which are national security facilities, advanced technology is required for building internet virtualization systems and security systems. Veloc holds references related to the construction and maintenance of security solutions for power plants including nuclear, hydro, and thermal power plants.

In addition, the company explained that it has all the advanced security technology products required by customers, including the firewall policy integrated management solution ‘FOCS (Pax)’, which contributed to achieving this contract success.

A Veloc representative said, "This contract is meaningful as it proves our technological capability and stability by signing a large-scale contract with a new client after prior testing," adding, "Through this contract, we have also gained trust as a stable partner among clients and collaborators."

He continued, "As everything becomes digitalized and the scope of cyber security attacks expands, we plan to expand the domestic and international supply of security solutions that can provide equipment and software production, delivery, installation, and operation management all at once, using this Korea Southern Power contract as an opportunity."

Meanwhile, Veloc obtained GS Certification Grade 1 for the firewall policy integrated management solution ‘Pax 3.0’, which was launched last year. Veloc supplies its proprietary security solutions, including Pax, to government agencies, financial institutions, and general companies. Starting this year, it plans to expand the supply of the AI motion analysis solution ‘i-object track (i-Object Track)’, which incorporates deep learning technology.
