Junggi Junganghoe Holds Advanced Course for Next-Generation CEO School

Education on Corporate Succession and Digital Transformation Strategies

The Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business (Kbiz) announced on the 26th that it will hold the entrance ceremony for the '2024 Next-Generation CEO School Advanced Course' at the Small and Medium Business DMC Tower in Sangam-dong, targeting next-generation CEOs and successors preparing for business succession.

Since its launch in 2009, the Next-Generation CEO School Advanced Course has been conducted to enhance the management capabilities of next-generation CEOs for stable business succession in small and medium enterprises and to strengthen competencies through mutual exchange among trainees. To date, it has produced a total of 444 graduates across 19 classes.

About 30 people attended the entrance ceremony, including Lee Myung-ro, Head of the Human Resources Policy Division at the Korea Federation of Small and Medium Business, and trainees of the Next-Generation CEO School Advanced Course.

The 20th course will run for 12 weeks starting with the entrance ceremony, with regular classes and domestic and overseas workshops held every Friday. The curriculum includes ▲Understanding Tax and Legal Affairs for Business Succession ▲Leadership of Next-Generation CEOs ▲Digital Transformation Strategies for Small and Medium Enterprises ▲Comprehensive Review of Successful Business Succession ▲Field Visits to Outstanding Business Succession Cases (Overseas), among others.

Lee Myung-ro, Head of the Human Resources Policy Division, said, “Despite the rapidly changing business environment, I hope this program will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the philosophy and determination to manage small and medium enterprises as next-generation CEOs, share various difficulties encountered during the business succession process, and find solutions.”

The ‘KBIZ Next-Generation CEO School’ is a specialized education program for next-generation CEOs of small and medium enterprises to support smooth business succession and growth into excellent companies. It consists of ▲Introductory Course (3 days) ▲Advanced Course (12 weeks) ▲Growth Course (once per quarter).
