LG Electronics is accelerating its market penetration in the Middle East and Africa, where it is expanding its presence in premium home appliances, through close local communication. The company plans to continue its growth in the region by presenting various platforms and solutions beyond set technology, and showcasing locally customized products and technologies.

About 500 attendees, including distributors and partners from the Middle East and Africa, participated in the event.
LG Electronics set up a 1,000㎡ main exhibition hall to showcase smart life solutions. The company introduced AI home appliances such as washing machines, dryers, and WashTower, the world’s first wireless OLED TV 'LG SIGNATURE OLED M,' and the 'LG OLED evo' equipped with the Alpha 11 AI processor. There was also an exhibition space for the smart TV platform webOS and the smart platform ThinQ, highlighting service businesses through various platforms.
Through this event, LG Electronics held consultations and meetings with distributors and partners to discuss cooperation plans and future strategies in various fields such as content business and B2B (business-to-business). The company also shared plans to continue qualitative growth by focusing on regionally customized new products, webOS-based content, ThinQ-based smart homes, and B2B.
LG Electronics plans to intensify its B2B business led by local governments according to regional characteristics. Leveraging the technological expertise accumulated from local B2B projects, the company aims to secure business opportunities in a wide range of fields including optimized home appliances, TVs, IT, as well as mobility, robotics, air solutions, and commercial displays.
Lee Il-hwan, Head of LG Electronics Middle East and Africa, said, "We will continue to grow steadily by strengthening cooperation with local partners," adding, "We will leap forward as a true smart life solutions company."
LG Electronics recorded sales of KRW 3.2873 trillion in the Middle East and Africa region last year, centered on production bases in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. This figure represents a 52.7% increase compared to five years ago. In particular, LG is leading the premium TV market with its OLED TVs, which hold the number one market share in the Middle East and Africa.
