On the 25th at 4 PM, Oh Seung-rok, Mayor of Nowon District, attended the opening ceremony of the ‘Nowon Senior Call Center’ held on the 4th floor of the Junggye On Village Center in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
Following the ‘65+ Senior Welfare Benefits Briefing’ held for the first time last year, a survey was conducted reflecting seniors’ requests for easier consultation on employment and other matters, leading to the establishment of the ‘Nowon Senior Call Center.’
The ‘Nowon Senior Call Center’ has 24 senior consultants who provide consultations on senior jobs, welfare, leisure, and overall district administration with just one phone call. The operating hours are weekdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. You can call the main phone number.
About 100 people attended the opening ceremony, including Mayor Oh Seung-rok, National Assembly member Kim Seong-hwan, district council members, senior job participants, and local residents. The event proceeded in the order of guest introductions, progress report, greetings, cake cutting and commemorative photo, and facility tour.
Mayor Oh Seung-rok of Nowon District said, “We prepared the one-stop service ‘Senior Call Center’ so that seniors can easily access the benefits they need with just one phone call. We will empower you with better policies so that the second act of your life in Nowon can bloom as beautifully as the days you have lived.”
