Jin Gyo-hoon, Mayor of Gangseo District Office in Seoul, attended the 'Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps Departure Ceremony' held in front of the district office yard on the afternoon of the 25th to encourage the members.
The departure ceremony was held with about 40 participants, including Mayor Jin and members of the Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps, and proceeded in the order of ▲reading the disinfection resolution ▲demonstration of disinfection equipment.
Starting with the departure ceremony on this day, the Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps will begin full-scale pest control activities to prevent infectious diseases until October.
Disinfection mobile teams will be organized by neighborhood to conduct intensive disinfection throughout the village, including alleys and vulnerable disinfection areas.
Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, “During the COVID-19 situation, we carried out disinfection activities to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, and now I deeply thank the Saemaeul Disinfection Volunteer Corps for rolling up their sleeves to carry out summer pest control for the health and hygiene of residents.”
