Infomark Changes Company Name to 'Human Technology'... "Improving Performance with AI Anti-Drone Solutions"

Infomark announced on the 25th that it will change its company name to ‘Human Technology’ and promote a new defense industry business centered on cutting-edge AI AESA radar systems. To this end, Infomark resolved partial amendments to its articles of incorporation, including the name change, at the 22nd regular shareholders' meeting and recently established a ‘Defense Business Division’.

Human Technology plans to enter the ‘anti-drone’ market, which is experiencing increasing global demand in the defense and military sectors. Last month, it laid the groundwork for market entry by signing a strategic business agreement with ‘Toris Square,’ a leading company in the related field.

Toris Square’s ‘Elijah Radar’ is the world’s first AI AESA radar system based on frequency-modulated continuous wave (FMCW) technology, developed purely with domestic technology.

The Elijah Radar has a detection range of up to 13 km for drones measuring 35 cm, significantly surpassing the record previously held by Israeli company R, which was considered the world’s best. The detection range of anti-drone systems is a critical factor that determines technological competitiveness, as it is proportional to the drone neutralization distance.

In particular, the Elijah Radar applies AI technology to solve the problem of conventional radar operations that could not distinguish between flocks of birds and drones. Another major advantage of this technology is that it can operate automatically without a separate operator.

Toris Square has supplied the Elijah Radar to the Republic of Korea Army, Navy, and Air Force through the ‘Rapid Demonstration Acquisition Project’ and expects orders to continue in various fields from the second half of this year. Demand for drone detection radars is increasing not only in the defense sector but also in airports, oil fields, refineries, semiconductor plants, and automobile factories.

A company official explained, “Through the recent business agreement, Human Technology secured exclusive production rights for the Elijah Radar solution,” adding, “Amid unstable international situations such as the Ukraine-Russia war and the Israel-Hamas conflict, as well as the case of the global oil company ‘Aramco’’s oil facility complex being attacked by suicide drones, global demand for anti-drone systems is growing.”

He continued, “The Elijah Radar received MIL-STD certification, the U.S. military’s environmental assessment standard, last December and has begun full-scale domestic and international sales. Considering its global top-level technological competitiveness with a detection range exceeding 13 km, high demand can be guaranteed in the global market, so we expect a sharp improvement in performance starting from the second half of this year.”
