Participants and visitors will enjoy a variety of programs including a nationwide children's drawing contest, a family treasure hunt, a youth Korean traditional music festival, a photo contest at the event site, an exhibition of grand lanterns, and traditional cultural experiences. The highlight of this year’s Yeondeunghoe is the fireworks display that lights up the darkness at the end of the event.

Yeondeunghoe, recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, is an event that transcends religious boundaries and allows visitors and citizens to come together in harmony.

An event official said, “We hope everyone will experience traditional culture, participate in various programs, and have an enjoyable time at this year’s Suncheon Yeondeunghoe.”
