KOSHA Holds Launch Ceremony for This Year's Busan 'Safety and Health Forum'

April 24th Hosted by Busan Employment and Labor Office and Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency

The Busan Employment and Labor Office (Commissioner Kim Jun-hwi) and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director Gong Heung-du) held the launch ceremony of the Busan Regional 'Safety and Health Forum' on April 24 at the Asti Hotel to create a platform for sharing information and communication on major accident prevention for small and medium-sized enterprises in Busan.

Busan Employment and Labor Office and Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency Busan Regional Headquarters held the launch ceremony of the 'Safety and Health Forum' in the Busan area.

The 2024 Busan Safety and Health Forum launch ceremony was attended by about 150 people, including the Busan Employment and Labor Office, the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency, Busan Port Authority, and other participating organizations. They shared the annual plan for the Safety and Health Forum and read the Safety and Health Forum declaration to reaffirm their commitment to a full-scale response to major accident prevention.

The Safety and Health Forum is a communication platform established to share accident prevention information by division and to encourage external promotion and participation. It is expected to serve as a central network for safety and health activities that autonomously explore and share policies and information.

Through this Safety and Health Forum launch ceremony, the clear determination of related organizations to prevent major accidents was confirmed, and the Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency also conveyed that it will lead the forefront of accident prevention by exerting all its capabilities.
