The Korea Meteorological Administration announced on the 24th at 8:40 PM that an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 occurred 19 km northeast of Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan.
The epicenter is located at 36.50 degrees north latitude and 140.60 degrees east longitude, with a depth of 60 km.
