According to the hotel industry on the 24th, Signiel Seoul has been selling the 'Signature Jeju Apple Mango Bingsu' for 130,000 won since the 22nd. This is a 2.4% increase from last year's 127,000 won. Signiel Seoul sold the most expensive apple mango bingsu among luxury hotels in Seoul last year, but this year, it raised the price again, setting a new record for the highest bingsu price. A Signiel representative explained, "This reflects the increase in prices such as Jeju apple mangoes," adding, "The plating has also changed compared to last year."

As word of mouth spreads mainly among people in their 20s and 30s through social networking services (SNS), mango bingsu sold at domestic luxury hotels is gaining popularity, and the price of bingsu at luxury hotels is rising every year.

The Shilla Hotel Seoul, known as the originator of apple mango bingsu, announced that it will sell apple mango bingsu for 102,000 won starting from the 26th. This is about a 4.1% increase from last year's 98,000 won.

The melon mango bingsu sold at The Pavilion, Grand Walkerhill Seoul, starting from the 1st of next month, is also priced at 73,000 won, up 5.8% from last year's 69,000 won.

The price of Jeju apple mango bingsu sold at Lotte Hotel Jeju's 'Peninsula Lounge & Bar' has increased by 12.2%, from 82,000 won last year to 92,000 won this year. However, the prices of Jeju apple mango bingsu sold at Lotte Hotel Seoul's 'Peninsula Lounge' and Signiel Busan's 'The Lounge' remain the same as last year, at 92,000 won and 80,000 won respectively.

However, the Four Seasons Hotel, which attracted attention last year by launching the first apple mango bingsu priced over 100,000 won among 5-star hotels on a single item basis, has frozen its price this year and will sell it at the same price of 126,000 won as last year.

Meanwhile, according to the price status of Garak Market compiled by the Seoul Metropolitan Agricultural and Marine Products Corporation, the average price of domestic mangoes (3kg, premium) was traded at 161,000 won on this day, showing a 40% increase compared to 115,000 won during the same period last year.
