Gyeonggi Province held an open provincial government meeting at the provincial office on the 24th, conducting a declaration ceremony for integrity practice and anti-corruption law education.
At the integrity practice declaration, more than 80 participants including Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon, heads of provincial offices, and heads of public institutions attached puzzle pieces together to complete a large integrity puzzle featuring the slogan "Corruption 0 Integrity 100, If You Are Honest, You Are Gyeonggi Province!"
Prior to this, until the 17th, Gyeonggi Province held a slogan contest to encourage all employees’ interest and participation in integrity and to spread a culture of integrity within the organization. Selected slogans included creative phrases such as ▲If You Are Honest, You Are Gyeonggi Province ▲The Integrity I Keep, The Integrity That Keeps Me ▲Trusted Gyeonggi Province, Integrity Is Our Promise ▲When You Shout No, The Weight of My Heart Is Zero.

Going forward, Gyeonggi Province will actively promote 20 key tasks under four major strategies to raise the level of integrity among public officials: a self-standing public service, interconnected integrity values, integrity practice involving everyone, and preemptive prevention of corruption factors.
In particular, as a participatory integrity policy, the province will discover and implement integrity practice tasks tailored to the characteristics of each department’s work to improve corruption-prone areas and enhance institutional integrity. It also plans to expand proactive and autonomous integrity activities such as operating the self-growing study group “Integrity Signal.”
Additionally, anti-corruption policies developed proactively by private experts will be selected and promoted as joint projects with Gyeonggi Province, cities and counties, provincial public institutions, and private organizations. This aims to share and spread substantial anti-corruption measures that meet the expectations of the province’s residents, who are the demanders of integrity.
After the education session, Governor Kim Dong-yeon mentioned the integrity slogan “Gyeonggi Province Is Always Clear,” which was submitted by an employee through an internal contest, and urged, “I hope that all of our executives, heads of institutions, and employees will serve the residents with sincerity with a clear heart, not a gloomy, dull, or rainy heart.”
