The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will hold more than 20 regional 'G-Fund Investment Briefings' on the go.
The G-Fund is an investment association established by Gyeonggi-do to promote the growth of small and venture businesses within the province.
This year, a fund worth a total of 150 billion KRW will be raised targeting small businesses at all stages belonging to future growth sectors such as artificial intelligence (AI), bio, semiconductors, robotics, big data, secondary batteries, startups, and carbon neutrality.
This briefing session was prepared to provide companies seeking investment with opportunities to accelerate growth through funding, and to offer investors opportunities to discover and invest in innovative small businesses.

The briefing will be attended by small and venture businesses in the province and G-Fund operators, and will proceed in the order of ▲Investment briefing (guidance on investment plans for each G-Fund) ▲Investment consultation (1:1 investment consultation between investors and startups) ▲Investment consulting (IR consultation and provision of standard forms for companies seeking investment).
In particular, investment promotion activities (IR) will be held in conjunction with other support projects, and customized consulting will be provided not only for investors but also for growing companies.
The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will start 1:1 investment consultations for startups, manufacturing, and platform sector companies at the Pangyo Startup Campus on the 23rd of next month. Afterwards, on-site investment consultations will be actively conducted throughout the province in areas such as AI, bio, carbon neutrality, strong small businesses, and R&D.
Kang Sung-cheon, head of the agency, said, "The investment briefing was prepared to provide practical funding opportunities to local small and venture businesses amid the recent difficult economic situation," adding, "We will also provide investment attraction consulting tailored to the perspective of companies and strive to foster the growth of small and venture businesses in the province and create a successful business environment."
Meanwhile, in February, the agency successfully held a briefing session on the G-Fund and customized support projects, 1:1 investment consultations with venture capital (VC), and networking involving about 20 companies and investors for small manufacturing companies and startups located in Banwol and Siwha, together with the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation.
