A Total of 42 Courses... Available for Applicants Aged 18 and Over
Hwaseong City in Gyeonggi Province will recruit students for the 2nd quarter of Hwaseong Citizen University on a first-come, first-served basis from the 1st to the 14th of next month.
The courses prepared this time consist of a total of 42 courses in the fields of citizen studies and learning studies. The city explained that the curriculum and instructors were composed of diverse educational programs with enhanced creativity and expertise selected through a lecture proposal contest.
Anyone aged 18 or older who is a Hwaseong citizen can apply, and the completion criteria for each course is an attendance rate of 70% or higher. To motivate lifelong learning and encourage participation, the city plans to award an honorary degree in the name of the Mayor of Hwaseong to those who complete more than 100 hours.
Detailed information such as the schedule, instructors, and capacity for each course can be checked through the 'Hwaseong City Integrated Reservation System.'
