New iPad Pro and Air Expected to Launch
Apple announced on the 23rd (local time) that it will hold a special online event at 11 PM on the 7th of next month.
Apple did not disclose specific details about this event but released an image featuring the Apple logo and a pencil along with the phrase "As you wish."
The information technology (IT) industry expects the launch of a new iPad. Apple has not released a new iPad product for about 18 months, marking the longest gap in the history of the iPad.
Earlier foreign media reported that Apple is preparing to release improved versions of the "iPad Pro" and "iPad Air."
The Pro model is expected to feature a sharper organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display and a faster M3 chip, along with a new design for the "Magic Keyboard" and "Apple Pencil."
The Air model is anticipated to add a 12.9-inch screen option and include a new processor.
The new iPad launch event will be held ahead of Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 10.
This event, which invites developers worldwide to announce new features for the latest iPhone, is expected to showcase Apple’s proprietary artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities. Attention is focused on Apple’s successive new product and feature announcements.
Meanwhile, Apple is scheduled to announce its first-quarter results (second quarter of the fiscal year) on the 2nd of next month.
