Beijing Middle East Association Celebrates 30th Anniversary... Exhibition Inviting Chinese Buyers Held

Private Economic Organization Founded in 1994
Exhibition of Products from 150 Korean Companies Scheduled

The Beijing Korean Small and Medium Business Association will celebrate its 30th anniversary on the 26th by hosting an exchange meeting and exhibition in Beijing, China, together with related organizations.


The "Korea-China Excellent Enterprises Exhibition and Exchange Meeting," held from the morning of the day, will showcase 150 products from Korean companies operating in China. The event will invite over 200 Chinese buyers to introduce the exhibited products and facilitate the discovery of business opportunities and business cooperation matching.


To support business cooperation matching and other activities, organizations such as the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT), the Korea International Trade Association, the Small and Medium Business Corporation, the Global Innovation Center (KIC China), and the Gangwon Province Special Self-Governing Province Beijing Representative Office will participate.


Yoon Seok-ho, president of the Beijing Korean Small and Medium Business Association, stated, "Over the past 30 years, the Beijing Korean Small and Medium Business Association has contributed not only to the growth and development of individual entrepreneurs but also to the promotion of mutual friendly cooperation between Korea and China." He evaluated, "The remarkable achievements of entrepreneurs who have entered China are due to maintaining a long-term perspective and continuously enhancing understanding and trust between Korean and Chinese entrepreneurs."


He continued, "At this point, Korean and Chinese entrepreneurs must overcome this crisis and break through difficulties through more exchanges, communication, and cooperation than ever before," adding, "I believe the 30th anniversary is not just a time for celebration and closure but a period for reorganization for a greater leap forward, and we will strive even harder."


The commemorative ceremony and banquet will be attended by representatives from related organizations, including Ryu Bok-geun, Economic Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China; Lee Jeong-gu, Minister-Counselor; Kim Hong-gi, Senior Vice Chairman of the Korean Chamber of Commerce in China; Kang Seong-cheon, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency; and Kim Jong-moon, Director of KIC, as well as Korean, diaspora, and Chinese entrepreneurs.


The Beijing Korean Small and Medium Business Association is a purely private economic organization founded in 1994 to promote friendship, cooperation, and protection of rights and interests among entrepreneurs operating in Beijing, China, and to expand information exchange.
