Student Support Snack Sharing Event Held
Yeungjin College (President Choi Jae-young) held a snack-sharing event to support students during the midterm exam period.
On the 22nd at 5 p.m., the college held a ‘Midterm Exam Snack Sharing Event’ in front of the library, distributing snack packs consisting of bread, drinks, bananas, and chestnut jelly to enrolled students.
At the event, Vice President Park Jong-baek and other faculty and staff handed out snacks to about 700 students visiting the library, cheering them on to do well on their midterms.
Students who received the snacks took 인증샷 (certification photos) with their friends and posed for commemorative photos with the university mascot ‘Waigeo (university character),’ creating a warm and friendly atmosphere during the midterms.
The university library has been open 24 hours since the 15th in preparation for this midterm exam period.
Lee Si-hyun, a third-year student in the Computer Information Department at Yeungjin College, said, “The first day of midterms was tough. I ate the delicious snacks well, and with the support sent, I will put in more effort to do better on the remaining exams.”
Song Da-hee, a third-year student in the Computer Information Department, said, “I wish I could get more snacks. The tension was high because of the midterms, but sharing snacks with friends gave me a moment of relaxation, so I’m happy.”
Yeungjin College Library plans to hold a ‘Library Month’ event starting from the 7th of next month.
