The city organized the campaign to deliver encouraging messages amid tiring daily life.
OK Boryeong Bright Smile Day means that happiness comes every day when you smile: △Monday is the original smile day △Tuesday is the bright smile day △Wednesday is the modest smile day △Thursday is the loud smile day △Friday is the day to smile quickly and smile again △Saturday is the day to smile plumply like a rabbit △Sunday is the day to smile first and see later.
During the campaign held that day, employees on their way to work exchanged supportive greetings by clapping palms with smiling faces.
Mayor Kim Dong-il said, "A sincere smile has positive health effects," adding, "I hope public officials smile throughout the week and that this good energy is fully transmitted to the citizens of Boryeong."
