Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) has published a comprehensive guidebook titled ‘Gwangjin 1-Person Living Tips Collection.Zip,’ which consolidates support projects for single-person households by category.
The booklet contains a total of 37 projects. It includes key support project details to provide information helpful for the daily lives of single-person households at a glance. It is also produced in a lightweight 33-page format, making it easy to carry.
The categories cover health, safety, housing, economy, and social relationships, encompassing the core areas of single-person household policies. Each project’s details, eligibility, and application methods are briefly summarized for easy understanding by anyone.
Specifically, it guides projects implemented by Gwangjin-gu and Seoul City such as ‘Free Health Checkups for Single-Person Households,’ ‘Happy Meals for Middle-aged and Older Adults,’ ‘Secure Jeonse and Monthly Rent Contract Assistance,’ and ‘Club Meeting Support.’
Additionally, it provides information on local convenience facilities and living information such as the Gwangjin-gu Single-Person Household Support Center, sports facilities, and libraries.
The guidebook is available at 15 community service centers within the district or at the Gwangjin-gu Single-Person Household Support Center. In May, it will be posted in e-book format on the district office website.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We created this comprehensive guidebook so that many residents can utilize the various support measures for single-person households,” and added, “We hope many people gain useful information that helps in their daily lives.”
