The number of tourists who visited Incheon Port by cruise this year has exceeded 6,000.

Additionally, the number of passengers who stayed overnight for 1 night and 2 days at Incheon Port and toured the metropolitan area and Incheon also increased greatly.

IPA plans to promote Incheon Port as the optimal homeport for fly and cruise (FLY&CRUISE) to global cruise lines, successfully lead two homeport calls in the first half of the year, and establish a high value-added industrial base by developing tourism, ship supplies, and passenger transport services between airports and ports. Through this, it is expected to ride a new wave as the central homeport of Northeast Asia.

An IPA official stated, "To leap forward as a Northeast Asia cruise hub port, we will continue route attraction marketing targeting selected cruise lines."
