Continuing High-Intensity Political Remarks Recently via SNS
Previously Strongly Criticized Representative Lee Jun-seok's Statements
Jung Yura, the daughter of Choi Seo-won (formerly Choi Soon-sil), who is currently imprisoned for the 'Park Geun-hye and Choi Soon-sil government manipulation' scandal, strongly criticized the conservative camp, saying, "'Right-wing' also needs to change, but you keep dragging the ideology toward the 'left-wing.' Then go ahead and form a party." Recently, Jung has been making high-intensity 'political remarks' while criticizing Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform New Party, Kim Jun-hyuk, newly elected member of the Democratic Party representing Hwaseong Jeong in Gyeonggi, and Democratic Party lawmaker Ahn Min-seok.

On the 23rd, Jung posted on her social media (SNS), "Looking at how things are going these days, I wonder what this is," and claimed, "North Korea is the main enemy, and former Presidents Park Chung-hee, Chun Doo-hwan, and Rhee Syngman were righteous leaders." She continued, "Due to the turbulent times caused by North Korea, the strong suppression and dictatorship during the re-election were an unavoidable choice," and sharply added, "None of this would have happened if North Korea did not exist."
She also said, "Honam never gives votes, and Yeongnam is the root," and continued her political remarks by stating, "The claims regarding the May 18 Gwangju Democratization Movement, the Sewol ferry disaster, and the Itaewon tragedy are full of exaggerations, and the compensation amounts are not appropriate."
Jung further stated, "The left-wing are pro-North Korean and Juche faction supporters, and coexistence with Japan is indispensable in modern society," and raised her voice, saying, "The compensation amounts for the families of the Cheonan sinking and Yeonpyeong Island shelling incidents should be revised to far exceed those for accident victims." In particular, she criticized those calling for 'innovation' within the conservative camp, saying, "Is this such a difficult thing to say? Why do you deny the party's identity and self while calling it the right path and innovation?" and "You are not admitting mistakes and correcting them but just smearing the face, thinking that if you just dress it up nicely with words, everything will be fine."
Earlier, Mr. Jeong also criticized Lee Jun-seok, the leader of the Reform New Party, for his remarks regarding the decline in President Yoon Seok-yeol's approval ratings, saying, "I believe the support base has narrowed to housewives, the unemployed, and retirees. The quality is not good." [Photo by Yonhap News]
Earlier, Jung criticized Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform New Party, for his remarks regarding President Yoon Seok-youl's declining approval ratings, saying, "I think the support base has narrowed down to housewives, the unemployed, and retirees. Qualitatively, it's not good." She said, "Where is a supporter who is not precious to a politician regardless of occupation, gender, or age, to make such remarks?" and added, "The person who talks about housewives brought out his mother and shed tears and snot. Isn't it you who got elected because of your mother?" Lee's mother had previously appeared on the campaign vehicle during the 22nd general election, appealing for support with tears.
Jung also pointed out Lee's mention of retirees, saying, "Retired people are those who have played a role in the country and are now resting. The retirees are those who worked as office workers for 30 or 40 years and are now retired, which you like," and added, "The office workers you know are not the whole world." She continued, "It's just a habit to insult everyone except the supporters who support oneself." Jung also noted that Lee's remarks are in the same vein as Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party, who once said, "There are many People Power Party supporters among the low-education and low-income groups," and sarcastically asked, "Have you decided to become an Lee Jae-myung kid now?"
