"Starting Salary 50 Million Won"... Uniqlo, New Employee Recruitment for First Half of This Year

UNIQLO announced on the 23rd that it is recruiting UNIQLO Management Candidates (UMC) through the 2024 first half new employee open recruitment until the 13th of next month.


The UMC selected through the UNIQLO new employee recruitment process is a position that can grow into a global manager based on experience in sales sites. Successful candidates will gain core work experience as UNIQLO management candidates through an intensive training program covering store management, product management, profit and loss management, and personnel management.


After joining, successful candidates can develop their job experience in various directions such as regional manager, headquarters, and overseas assignments according to their aptitude and career goals after becoming a store manager.

To mark the first half open recruitment, UNIQLO will hold offline recruitment briefings at a total of seven universities including Korea University, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Ewha Womans University, Inha University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Hanyang University from the 26th of this month to the 9th of next month. The schedule varies by school.


The recruitment briefings will be operated as ‘consultation booths’ and ‘lunch briefings.’ At the consultation booths, open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., job seekers can talk with recruitment officers to hear explanations about frequently asked questions and application know-how, while the lunch briefings, which provide a simple lunch, allow attendees to hear about the store job experiences and growth stories of UMC seniors such as store managers, headquarters staff, and overseas residents.


At the online live recruitment briefing held on the 10th of next month, recruitment officers and current employees will explain the UMC job and introduce the company philosophy, culture, and in-house welfare. Both online and offline recruitment briefings require prior reservation to participate, and all participants will receive additional points in the document screening process.

The starting salary for new employees hired through UNIQLO’s open recruitment is about 50 million KRW including bonuses. Various welfare benefits such as refresh leave, rewards, company housing support for local assignments, and separate performance bonuses are provided.
