The 0.5 km forest trail section from Shindeok Hill to Golbaemasil Holy Site is part of the four routes of the Youth Kim Dae-geon Trail and includes some steep slopes, which caused inconvenience to users. Since last month, the city has been installing wooden stairs and safety ropes there, and has been carrying out construction work to renovate comprehensive information boards and directional signposts.

In addition, the city plans to complete renovations by the first half of the year on the Gwanggyosan Dulle-gil trail, which runs from the Senior Citizens' Center in Gogi-dong, Suji-gu to the summit of Barasan, and the Seonjangsan forest trail starting from Sinwon Reservoir in Pogok-eup, Cheoin-gu, investing 570 million won.

A city official said, "We will do our best to maintain the facilities so that citizens can safely enjoy the mountains and heal."
