The Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Research Foundation of Korea announced on the 23rd that they will accept the second round of opinion requests for the Limit Challenge R&D project from the 22nd until next month 1st.
The Limit Challenge R&D is a project that pursues R&D with a high possibility of failure but significant ripple effects if successful. The opinion request targets are topics selected by three PMs from materials, climate energy, and biohealth: ▲ Research proving the usefulness of new magnetic materials and antiferromagnetism ▲ Microorganisms as the key to opening a bypass route for biomass ▲ Smart autonomous systems for awareness and prevention of chronic diseases ▲ Early detection of bio outbreaks such as virus and bacteria infections.
