[Click eStock] "Hancom Expands Business Centered on AI"

NH Investment & Securities forecasted on the 23rd that Hangul and Computer will steadily improve its performance due to the growth of on-premise products and the benefits of transitioning to public cloud.

Sim Eui-seop, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, stated, "We recently launched the document data extraction SDK 'Hancom Data Loader,' which supports converting various document formats such as PDF and Office into AI data for purpose-driven utilization," adding, "As a process complementing LLM, it enhances the reliability of generative AI and allows for extensive updates of the latest information."

He continued, "We plan to release a new AI software product in the second half of this year," and added, "DocumentQA, scheduled for release at the end of June this year, is a service that uses sLLM to database customers' documents and provide customized answers."

He emphasized, "We will also launch Hancom Assistant, an in-house technology product expected to be similar to MS Copilot, within this year," highlighting, "There are many expectations in various areas, including organic growth in the core business, inorganic growth through M&A, and achievements in the AI business."

Researcher Sim analyzed, "Following the strategic investment in the generative AI startup 'Forti2Maru' earlier this year, the company continues its active moves with the acquisition of Clipsoft, the No.1 electronic document company, and investment in the Spanish AI biometric company 'FacePhi'." He also judged, "The sale of the subsidiary Hancom Lifecare, which was a major factor in last year's performance volatility, is underway," concluding, "The corporate value will be fully evaluated based on the Office and AI businesses."
