Kim San, the governor of Muan County, has shown a pledge fulfillment rate of 61.9% in the first quarter of 2024, indicating that the pledge implementation is progressing smoothly.
According to the county on the 22nd, Governor Kim San's pledges for the 8th term of direct election consist of 100 pledges across 7 sectors, of which 95 are targeted for completion during the term and 5 are to be completed after the term.

Governor Kim San presides over quarterly meetings to review the progress of pledge implementation and is making efforts to improve the fulfillment rate. The newly completed pledges in 2024 include three projects: △ Promotion of selection for the Cheonggye-myeon urban regeneration project △ Support for shingles vaccination costs △ Livestock odor reduction project.
Among these, the shingles vaccination cost support project, which provides 50% support for vaccination costs to residents aged 50 and over, was completed two years earlier than the original target of 2026, receiving great response from many residents.
Going forward, Muan County plans to receive evaluations on the progress and implementation status of pledge projects through a regular meeting of the pledge implementation evaluation group in June, and will continue to hold quarterly progress report meetings to accelerate pledge implementation.
Governor Kim San stated, “Although the annual pledge fulfillment rate target of 77.3% is expected to be easily achieved, we must not be complacent,” urging to speed up pledge implementation to meet the expectations of the residents.
