Demand for organizing connections between far-right figures and Mrs. Kim
"Kim Geon-hee must keep her promise to only play the role of a wife"
Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, presented 10 demands to President Yoon on the 22nd, including the acceptance of the so-called 'Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act,' which aims to investigate suspicions that Kim Gun-hee, the wife of President Yoon Seok-yeol, was involved in the Deutsche Motors stock manipulation case. On the same day, Jo stated on Facebook, "These are the minimum ten things President Yoon must implement according to the public sentiment confirmed in the April general election."

First, Jo Guk demanded the "acceptance of the re-submission of eight bills that President Yoon vetoed." This demand includes the Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act to investigate suspicions of Kim Gun-hee's involvement in stock manipulation, the Itaewon disaster special law, the Yellow Envelope Act (amendments to Articles 2 and 3 of the Labor Union and Labor Relations Adjustment Act), the Grain Management Act, the Nursing Act, the three broadcasting laws (amendments to the Broadcasting Act, the Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency Act, and the Korea Educational Broadcasting System Act), among others. He also demanded acceptance if the special prosecutor law regarding the alleged external pressure in the death of Marine Corps Corporal Chae passes the National Assembly plenary session.
Next, he urged the approval of a supplementary budget (추경) for the recovery of people’s livelihoods and the restoration of science and technology funding, the cessation of targeted investigations against opposition parties, the end of repression against critical media, and the implementation of the "separation of investigation and prosecution" and the establishment of the "Serious Crime Investigation Agency," which were agreed upon and signed by both ruling and opposition parties on April 22, 2022. He also emphasized that Kim Gun-hee’s promise on December 26, 2021, to "faithfully fulfill only the role of a wife even if her husband becomes president" should be honored. Furthermore, he insisted that President Yoon should refrain from drinking alcohol, and that the Yoon couple should stop watching YouTube broadcasts by shamans such as Cheongong and far-right YouTubers. He also called for the removal of far-right figures stationed within the Yongsan Presidential Office and the network of Kim Gun-hee.
