The Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute announced on the 22nd that Kim Gyuseop's "All About the Red Sun" won the grand prize at the 32nd Astrophotography Contest.
A total of 271 works were submitted to this astrophotography contest, and 24 of them were selected as award-winning pieces. Awardees receive plaques and prize money, with the grand prize winner receiving the Director's Award from the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute and a prize of 2 million won.
The winning works will be exhibited at the National Science Museum's Astronomy Hall and at domestic and international exhibitions, and can be viewed on the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute website.
