GS25 Launches 'One Meal Revolution' Project... Introduces Two Renewed Gimbap Varieties

GS Retail’s convenience store GS25 announced on the 22nd that it will release renewed gimbap as the first outcome of its 'One Meal Revolution' project this month. The One Meal Revolution is GS25’s ready-meal operation strategy and a representative food slogan for this year, aiming to provide a new paradigm of food beyond the conventional convenience store products.
The renewed gimbap increased the main topping quantity to about 40% compared to the finished product, and the seaweed weight was also increased to maintain the shape without bursting. In addition to optimizing seaweed roasting, sesame oil was applied to add a crispy texture and savory flavor. The rice was enhanced with the umami taste by using concentrated beef bone broth and kelp extract. Along with renewing the basic gimbap fillings, the lineup was expanded to include the “Whole Series” gimbap topped with whole ingredients. GS25 launched two types, Big Sausage Gimbap and Pork Cutlet Gimbap, on the 16th, and plans to sequentially introduce gimbap using whole ingredients such as rolled eggs and fish cakes.

Lotte Homeshopping will sell food featured on the TV variety show 'Park Gun Bapsang Charyeot.' Park Gun, a trot singer famous for his Special Forces background, hosts the variety show 'Park Gun Bapsang Charyeot,' which centers on serving 'filial piety meals.' The show is broadcast on TV and YouTube, and the food featured is sold exclusively through Lotte Homeshopping. The first product to be launched is 'Park Gun Hanwoo Bulgogi.' This product uses 1++ grade Hanwoo beef marinated for 12 hours at low temperature with a special sauce made from domestic mulberry and Neungi mushrooms. During the broadcast scheduled for the 24th, Park Gun will also reveal recipes he personally developed using Hanwoo bulgogi and perform his hit song 'Hanjanhae.'
Paris Baguette Releases 'Hello! Panda Cake' for Children’s Day
Paris Baguette is launching character cakes featuring 'pandas' and other images ahead of Children’s Day. The 'Hello! Panda Cake' is a three-dimensional cake shaped like a panda greeting you. The cake is iced with cream over a rich chocolate sheet, and coconut powder is used to express the panda’s cozy atmosphere. In May, a limited edition cute panda sticker will be included. Shinsegae L&B’s lifestyle brand Wine & More is launching the 'W Edit' package in collaboration with the online fashion platform W Concept. 'W Edit' is a compound word combining the common letter 'W' of Wine & More and W Concept and the word 'edit,' meaning a jointly curated fashion magazine by both companies. The package consists of one bottle of French traditional champagne house Andre Clouet champagne and one 'W Edit' photo booklet. The champagne includes two representative products from Andre Clouet: 'Andre Clouet Chouky' and 'Andre Clouet Dream Vintage 2016.' The photo booklet, themed 'Refreshing Office Woman’s 9 to 5 Like Sparkling,' features eight popular brands from W Concept and the premium fashion magazine VOGUE KOREA. A total of 100 sets of the W Edit package are prepared, priced at 99,000 KRW per set.
LF Champion Launches ‘Eco Future Line Collection’ for Earth Day
Global sports brand Champion, imported and sold by LF, is launching the eco-friendly 'Eco Future Line Collection' in celebration of Earth Day (April 22). This collection includes nine items such as summer apparel and accessories made from eco-friendly yarns like organic and recycled fibers. It uses 100% organic cotton yarn certified by the international organic textile standard 'GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)' and 100% recycled yarn. Additionally, all products have passed harmful substance tests and received the international eco-friendly textile certification 'Oeko-Tex.'
