Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) will support joint purchase and free installation of heat exchanger filters to improve indoor air quality and purchasing convenience for rental housing households.
In the case of mechanical ventilation systems, heat exchanger filters are consumables that tenants must bear, but GH decided to support joint purchase and free installation to ease purchasing convenience and cost burden.
Existing residents can purchase filters stocked by the management office, which GH jointly purchased, at a discounted price. New tenants will have the filters installed free of charge by the management office.
After a pilot operation targeting complexes with fewer than 500 households, GH plans to expand the program to other rental housing complexes based on resident satisfaction.
Kim Seyong, President of GH, stated, "We will continue to communicate with tenants and management entities to create a pleasant environment and enhance residential satisfaction by providing various services."
