The National Gwangju Science Museum is recruiting the 8th class of Lucesta members who will serve as science communicators.


National Gwangju Science Museum Recruiting Youth Public Relations Communication Group 'Luchesta'

The Gwangju Science Museum is recruiting a total of 100 Lucesta members via email until the 10th of next month. The recruitment period has been extended considering the academic schedules of the applicants.


Lucesta members can be any youth from the Honam region who love science and have a passion for sharing knowledge, ranging from 4th grade elementary to high school students. They will be active for a total of 7 months from June to December. They are expected to participate in science museum exhibitions, educational events, and promotional activities, as well as engage in science experiment activities, content creation for spreading science culture, and participate in various contests.


Lucesta members will receive benefits such as ▲free access to the National Gwangju Science Museum’s permanent exhibitions and special exhibitions (once a month, up to 3 accompanying persons) ▲free use of one-day educational programs (once a month, limited to members only). Additionally, ▲volunteer activity records will be recognized ▲and outstanding members will be selected and awarded at the end of the year (1 person awarded by the Minister of Science and ICT, 1 person by the Mayor of Gwangju Metropolitan City, and 10 persons by the Director of the National Gwangju Science Museum), allowing members to gain recognition for their external activities.
