On the 21st (local time), at The Club at Carlton Woods (par 72, 6,824 yards) in The Woodlands, Texas, USA, the final day of the Chevron Championship, the first major of the 2024 LPGA Tour season with a total prize of $7.9 million, Korda shot 3 under par over 25 holes to secure a two-stroke victory (13 under par 275). This marked her fifth win of the season and 13th career victory since her T-Mobile Match Play win on the 7th. The winner's prize was $1.2 million (approximately 1.6 billion KRW).

Korda has been on a winning streak since the LPGA Drive On Championship in January, achieving five consecutive wins. She became the third player in LPGA Tour history to record five straight victories, following Nancy Lopez (1978) and Annika Sorenstam (2004?2005). Korda only finished tied for 16th at the season opener, the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions, in January. She currently leads in wins, earnings, Player of the Year, scoring average, and the CME Globe race.

Korda entered the final round tied for second, one stroke behind Yu Hae-ran, after finishing the seven holes postponed due to bad weather in par. She took the lead with consecutive birdies on holes 3 and 4, then extended her lead with "stepping stone birdies" on holes 8 and 10, distancing herself from her competitors. Although she made bogeys on holes 11 and 15 (both par 4s), these did not affect her winning score. On the final 18th hole (par 5), after sending her second shot near the green, she calmly added one more stroke under par.

Marja Stark (Sweden) finished second at 11 under par 277, while Brooke Henderson (Canada) and Lauren Coughlin (USA) tied for third at 10 under par 278. Yu Hae-ran settled for fifth place at 9 under par 279 after two birdies and four bogeys. She missed her second chance to win since the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship last October. Lim Jin-hee performed well, finishing eighth at 6 under par 282. Lim is a rookie who joined the LPGA Tour this year through the Qualifying (Q) Series after winning four times on the Korean LPGA (KLPGA) Tour last year.

Kim A-rim tied for ninth at 5 under par 283, Lydia Ko (New Zealand) tied for 17th at 2 under par 286, and Shin Ji-ae finished tied for 23rd at 1 under par 287. Kim Sei-young and Anna Lin tied for 30th at even par 288, Bang Shin-sil tied for 40th at 1 over par 289, and Yang Hee-young and Choi Hye-jin tied for 46th at 2 over par 290. Ko Jin-young, Kim Hyo-joo, and Jeon In-ji were cut after poor performances the previous day.
