President Yoon Suk-yeol has conveyed to the People Power Party his intention to invite Han Dong-hoon, former Emergency Response Committee Chairman, and the entire Emergency Response Committee that led the 22nd National Assembly general election (April 10 election) to the Yongsan Presidential Office.

According to the Presidential Office on the 21st, President Yoon communicated to the party on the 19th his wish to invite all members of Han Dong-hoon's Emergency Response Committee to the Yongsan Presidential Office for a luncheon.

The 19th was also the day President Yoon had a phone call with Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, and proposed a meeting. On that morning, President Yoon informed his aides of his intention to invite Han Dong-hoon's Emergency Response Committee, and in the afternoon, he reportedly spoke with Lee Jae-myung.

It is known that President Yoon's intention was conveyed to Yoon Jae-ok, the floor leader of the People Power Party, through presidential aides.

With President Yoon inviting all members of Han Dong-hoon's Emergency Response Committee to the Yongsan Presidential Office, there is speculation that a meeting with former Chairman Han will be arranged soon.

An official from the Presidential Office stated, "We have invited former Chairman Han and the Emergency Response Committee," adding, "The date and other details have not been decided yet," and that arrangements are underway.

Meanwhile, former Chairman Han, who has been laying low since the People Power Party's defeat in the April 10 general election, posted on Facebook the previous night, saying, "The only ones politicians should not betray are the people," and, "Efforts to correct mistakes are not betrayal but courage."

This is interpreted as a rebuttal to Daegu Mayor Hong Joon-pyo, who on the same day raised the issue of election responsibility on his online communication platform 'Youth's Dream,' stating, "President Yoon Suk-yeol is also someone who betrayed."
