Changwon Special Mayor Hong Nampyo Visits 'BNK Gyeongnam Bank Stream Maintenance' Volunteer Activity Site

Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam, visited the site of a river maintenance volunteer activity held at Sanho Stream in Masanhwoin-gu as part of the 'BNK Social Contribution Day.'

The volunteer activity, held on the 20th, involved over 500 employees of Gyeongnam Bank, including Hong Nampyo, Mayor of Changwon Special City, National Assembly member Yoon Han-hong, BNK Financial Group Chairman Bin Dae-in, and BNK Gyeongnam Bank President Ye Kyung-tak. They carried out activities along Sanho Stream from Tonghapgyo Bridge to Oho Bridge, near the Metro City apartment complex, including ▲planting azaleas and moss phlox ▲removing weeds ▲throwing EM soil balls ▲creating a loess path ▲and conducting waterfront and underwater cleanup.

Mayor Hong said, “I hope the loess path and flower garden created through your efforts will become a new outing spot that delights the eyes and hearts of Changwon citizens. I ask for your continued sharing projects for the region and neighbors in the future.”
