Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the 'Media Art Festival' held at Yeongdeungpo Art Square on the afternoon of the 20th.
This exhibition was specially planned to commemorate Yeongdeungpo's representative festival, the Spring Flower Festival, and runs until May 6 under the theme "The Zero Space Nature," which represents Yeongdeungpo and nature expanding infinitely. Using the character Yeong (永) of Yeongdeungpo as a motif, it expresses the infinite expansion of Yeongdeungpo's growth (Zero Space) and nature (Nature) such as spring flowers and waterfronts through light mediated by media.
On this day, Mayor Choi enjoyed 18 exhibition works that awaken the five senses, engaged in conversations with the artists, and participated in the exhibition-linked program "Journey to Find Myself," experiencing various educational and event programs unique to the Media Art Festival.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, "At this Media Art Festival, you can enjoy spring in diverse ways while appreciating works with a new sensibility that overturns conventional methods. I ask for your great interest in this exhibition, and I will do my best to present differentiated cultural and artistic programs that can only be experienced in the cultural city of Yeongdeungpo."
