At around 11:30 a.m. on the 20th, a carbon dioxide leak occurred from the fire suppression system in a parking tower of a building in Hongseong, Chungnam.
As a result of the accident, six workers who were performing other tasks inside were suffocated and transported to the hospital.
One person in their 60s sustained serious injuries, while five others suffered minor injuries.
The fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the accident.
