Spokesperson Kang said, "The Democratic Party welcomes President Yoon's proposal," adding, "The phrase 'people's livelihoods are difficult' is insufficient to describe how exhausting and tiring each day is for the citizens. It is time for both ruling and opposition parties to put their heads together and gather wisdom." He continued, "We hope this will be a bold opportunity for dialogue for the lives of the people."
