Opening on the 25th in Pangyo, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do
Woori Bank announced on the 21st that it opened the Seoul Digital BIZ Prime Center in the Seoul Digital National Industrial Complex, Guro-gu, Seoul, on the 18th.
The BIZ Prime Center is a specialized channel for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) established last July with the inauguration of President Jo Byung-kyu, serving as the spearhead for the "rebuilding of the corporate finance stronghold." It primarily provides various financial services in a one-stop manner, including funding through investment and loans, corporate consulting, and asset management specialized services to companies located mainly in industrial complexes.
Starting with Banwol/Sihwa in July last year, Woori Bank has consecutively opened BIZ Prime Centers in Namdong/Songdo, Changwon/Noksan, Daegu/Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, Honam, and now in the Seoul Digital National Industrial Complex.
The Seoul Digital National Industrial Complex is the only national industrial complex in Seoul. Formerly the Guro Industrial Complex centered on the garment industry, it has grown into a digital industrial complex based on IT and knowledge services alongside economic development, leading the advancement of the nation's high-tech industries. As of the end of last year, about 14,000 companies, including IT and electrical/electronic firms, are located in this area, achieving an annual production performance of 14 trillion KRW.
Going forward, Woori Bank plans to actively support the financing of medium-sized and small enterprises scattered not only in this area but also in nearby regions such as Gwangmyeong, Bucheon, and Anyang through the Seoul Digital BIZ Prime Center.
President Jo said, "We have additionally opened a BIZ Prime Center in a region based on high-tech industries that will be responsible for the country's future, such as IT and cultural content," adding, "Woori Bank will continue to expand BIZ Prime Centers to revitalize medium-sized and small enterprises, which are the foundation of the national economy."
Meanwhile, Woori Bank plans to open the Pangyo BIZ Prime Center in Pangyo, Gyeonggi-do, on the 25th of this month.
