On the 19th, Mayor Hong responded "Leader Lee Jun-seok" to the question, "Who do you think was the party leader who managed the party well after the impeachment?" on his personal communication channel 'Dream of Youth.' He also explained, "He brought a fresh breeze to the party and won both the presidential and local elections."

Mayor Hong has expressed positive evaluations of the elected leader several times before. On the 11th, on 'Dream of Youth,' Mayor Hong said, "Still, Lee Jun-seok is a decent politician," and "Congratulations on your election." On the same day, the elected leader also stated on SNS about Mayor Hong, "Having Mayor Hong, who is praised by the younger generation as refreshing, serve as Prime Minister and share a significant part of state affairs is also an option," adding, "If this Prime Minister appointment is not done well, expectations for the administration will rapidly decline."

Meanwhile, on the 16th, Mayor Hong reportedly had a dinner meeting with President Yoon Seok-youl and recommended Kim Han-gil, chairman of the National Integration Committee, as Prime Minister, and Representative Jang Je-won as Chief of Staff. When asked, "What if the appointees do not perform well?" Mayor Hong replied, "If they do not do well, we can just replace them again."
