Hanwha Vision Invites 30 Low-Income Children for Camping Site Cultural Experience

Support for New Semester Supplies with Employee Fund
Side Dish Delivery for Disabled and Elderly Living Alone

Hanwha Vision, a video security specialist company, announced on the 19th that it invited about 30 children from vulnerable groups living in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, where its headquarters is located, to a camping site in Yongin-si for a cultural experience event.

Children from low-income families, who had limited opportunities for cultural experiences, enjoyed a barbecue party and various play culture activities with Hanwha Vision employees on that day.

The Hanwha Vision cultural experience event is a social contribution activity carried out through the voluntary participation of employees. It was organized with the purpose of promoting the emotional development of socially marginalized children and resolving cultural polarization.

The event, held twice a year in the first and second half, also provides items purchased with funds contributed by employees. In this event, supplies needed for the new school semester, such as school bags and stationery, were supported. In November last year, the children visited an amusement park and were provided with padding jackets to help them stay warm during winter.

Hanwha Vision carries out various social contribution activities for socially marginalized neighbors in the region.

In cooperation with local welfare centers, they deliver side dishes once or twice a week to homebound disabled people or elderly living alone. Through these side dish deliveries, communication is maintained to promote their psychological stability and ensure their physical and mental safety.

Every October, on the company’s anniversary, Hanwha Vision holds a donation event where employees and the company donate goods to social enterprises that support job creation for people with disabilities. This year, a corporate tour will also be conducted for children from multicultural families.

Hong Sunjae, Head of Management Support at Hanwha Vision, said, "Hanwha Vision fulfills its social responsibilities based on the company’s social contribution philosophy of ‘Together, Far’ and voluntary participation in volunteer work. We will continue to show interest and support so that we can create a happy tomorrow for the local community together with our employees."

Hanwha Vision also conducts environmental social contribution activities, such as designating a plogging day (picking up trash while walking or jogging) every quarter, where employees clean up the environment around the Pangyo R&D Center area in Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province, practicing eco-friendly initiatives.
