Held on the third Thursday of every month until December
On the 20th, Lotte Property & Development announced that it invited 25 people with disabilities from Songpa-gu to Lotte World Tower the day before 'Day of Persons with Disabilities (20th)' and held the 'Lotta Disabled Culture Day.'
'Lotta Disabled Culture Day' was established to provide leisure activities and cultural facilities at Lotte World Tower and Mall to people with disabilities who have limited opportunities for cultural experiences. This year, the '2024 Lotta Disabled Culture Day' will be held from March to December on the third Thursday of each month, with 25 people with disabilities and 5 employee volunteers participating, totaling 225 participants with disabilities.
Twenty-five folk painters visited the Lotte Museum's "Yoon Hyup: Nocturn City" exhibition hall on the 21st of last month and listened to a docent explanation.
In particular, on the 21st of last month, 25 foot painters (artists who paint with their mouth or feet due to accidents or disabilities preventing the use of both arms) belonging to the Songpa-gu Disabled Painting Club 'Hwasarang' visited the Lotte Museum's 'Yoon Hyup: Nocturn City' exhibition hall and viewed over 230 works ranging from early to new pieces by artist Yoon Hyup.
Jang Jae-hoon, CEO of Lotte Property & Development, said, “We hope that the small gesture we prepared for everyone participating in Lotta Disabled Culture Day becomes a warm gift,” adding, “We will continue various activities for vulnerable groups and strive to fulfill our social responsibility management by coexisting with the local community.”
