A Man in His 40s Dies After Being Hit by Pump Car Boom at Hapcheon Drainage Construction Site

At 12:18 PM on the 18th, a pump car boom fell on a worker in his 40s who was working at a drainage reinforcement construction site in Yulgok-myeon, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam.

According to Hapcheon Police Station, the link of the boom, which functions as the arm of the pump truck, broke, and Mr. A, who was working on concrete pouring near the vehicle, was struck by the boom.

Mr. A was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital but ultimately passed away.

All work at the site has been halted, and the police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident and whether safety regulations were followed by questioning those involved at the site.
